| Abstract: | Tématem bakalářské práce jsou možnosti a meze využití drážních brownfields. Nevyužitá a chátrající nádraží tvoří nezanedbatelnou část brownfields. Cílem práce je popsat problém nádražních brownfields v kontextu České republiky jako země s velkou hustotou železniční sítě a vysokou oblibou železnice ve společnosti. Práce se věnuje historickému vývoji železnic, vzniku drážních brownfields a krátce také různým možnostem jejich nového využití. V praktické části je popsán projekt záchrany nádražního objektu (magacínu), který prošel proměnou ze zchátralé stavby ve fungující výletní restauraci. Pomocí tohoto příkladu se práce snaží doložit potenciál nevyužitých nádražních objektů do budoucna. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor's thesis focuses on the potential and limitation of railway brownfield use. Underutilized and crumbling stations form significant part of brownfield sites. The aim of this thesis is to explain the issue of railway brownfield in the context of the Czech Republic, where the railway network is dense and the railway itself is popular in society. The thesis depicts the historical context of railway brownfield, their formation, and briefly the possible ways of their new utilization. The practical part describes how a salvage project, which transformed a railway storehouse (magazine) into a running seasonal restaurant, was done. Through this real-life example the thesis aims to document the great potential of underused railway sites for the future. |
