| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem Evropské unie na schvalovací proces IFRS, dopady tohoto procesu na konvergenční projekt a historickým vývojem vztahu mezi IFRS, Evropskou unií a americkou Komisí pro cenné papíry. V diplomové práci je detailní popis schvalovacího procesu na úrovni IFRS Nadace i na úrovni Evropské unie, dále financování Nadace IFRS a popis současného stavu konvergenčního projektu. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na schvalovací proces IFRS 10, kde se zaměřuje především na připomínky ze strany Evropských institucí a jejich vliv na konečnou podobu standardu. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with the European Union's influence on IFRS due process, its impact on convergent project and historical development of the relationship among IFRS, European Union and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The thesis involves the detailed description of due process on IFRS Foundation level and Endorsement Process in EU, IFRS Foundation financing and the description of the contemporary state of convergent project. The practical part is focused on the IFRS 10 due process, particularly on the comment letters from European institutions and their influence on the final form of the standard. |
