| Abstract: | Již dlouhá léta je bankovní sektor a finančnictví obecně v České republice vnímán jako vysoce profitabilní a zdravé podnikatelské odvětví. Při bližším pohledu však v současnosti pozorujeme na trhu řadu změn, příležitostí a hrozeb, které mohou mít na stabilitu celého bankovního systému i všech hráčů na trhu významný dopad. Tato diplomová práce si proto klade za cíl provedení podnikohospodářské analýzy tuzemského bankovního trhu a tří největších tržních hráčů v kontextu aktuálních tržních podmínek a provedení jejich zhodnocení ve vztahu k možnému budoucímu vývoji. K dosažení těchto cílů bude využito nejen metodického aparátu finanční a ekonomické analýzy, uzpůsobeného specifikům finančních institucí, ale také rozboru některých neméně důležitých nefinančních měřítek. Z podstaty tedy půjde o pohled na banku optikou managementu (či controllingu) nikoli pouze o technický pohled bankovnictví (či regulatorní). |

| Abstract: | For many years Czech banking sector and finance in general are perceived to be highly profitable and sound sector of business economy. However, in a closer view we can observe several changes, opportunities and threads being in progress on the market, which can have significant impacts to the whole banking system and all of the market players. This thesis therefore aims to perform a business analysis of the whole market and the BIG 3 in the context of current market conditions and making an overall assessment in relation to possible future development. To reach these objectives not only methods of financial analysis tailored to specifies of financial institutions will be used, but analysis of some important non-financial measures as well. Basically not just technical view of banking (or regulator) but the view of management (or controlling) will be applied. |
