| Abstract: | Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku controllingu, jak v teoretické, tak v praktické rovině. Teoretická část je věnována definicím, různým koncepcím, specifikům a metodám, které jsou v controllingu využívány. Dále zahrnuje popis výzkumného procesu a možnosti jeho aplikace na konkrétní případ. Součástí praktické části je výzkum hlavních controllingových oblastí ve čtyřech různých společnostech. Dotazníkové šetření je rozděleno do sedmi bloků. Ty pokrývají převážnou část činnosti controllingového oddělení v podniku. Ke každému tematickému okruhu je připojen komentář. Ten porovnává danou oblast u zkoumaných subjektů, odhaluje shody a poukazuje na odlišnosti. V závěru praktické části jsou shrnuty hlavní poznatky a rovněž je naznačeno porovnání controllingu v teorii a praxi. |

| Abstract: | The thesis is focused on controllership both on the theoretical and practical level. The theoretical part presents the definitions, various concepts, specifics and methods of controllership. It also describes the research process and possibilities of its application. The practical part includes research of the main areas of controllership in four different companies. The survey is divided into seven blocks, which cover the wide range of controller's activities in the company. There are commentaries to each thematic issue. The main objective of these discussions is to compare the specific areas of analyzed subjects, reveal similarities and highlight the differences. The last part of the thesis summarizes the main findings of practical part and also presents comparison of controllership by theory and practice. |
