| Abstract: | Cílem práce je zaměřit se na politické dění v Německu počátkem roku 1933, kdy nastoupil do úřadu Říšského kancléře Adolf Hitler, jehož vláda posléze iniciovala schválení Zmocňovacího zákona. Jsem přesvědčen, že ke skutečnému uchopení moci nacionálními socialisty došlo až na základě této normy, která v německém prostředí neměla obdoby, neboť znamenala změnu institucí, které až doposud ve Výmarské republice fungovalo. V práci se zabývám otázkami, z jakého důvodu k iniciaci takové normy došlo, proč byla pro Hitlerovu vládu tak důležitá a pro Německo přelomová a jaký postoj k ní zaujaly opoziční strany a jaké konsekvence ze Zmocňovacího zákona vyplývaly. Na problematiku nazírám skrze teorii veřejné volby a hledám odpověď na otázku, jaký vliv na dění v Německu na počátku třicátých let 20. století měly zájmové skupiny. |

| Abstract: | The main aim of the paper is to focus on the political development in Germany in 1933 when Adolf Hitler acceded to the office of the imperial chancellor. His government initiated the ratification of the Enabling Act right after. The author of the paper expresses a strong opinion that it was the Enabling Act through which the national socialists finally assumed power. It has caused the most considerable institutional change in Weimar Republic that cannot be compared to anything we could have seen in this territory before. The paper concerns following questions. What were the main reasons for iniciating such an act and why was it so necessary for Hitler and so revolutionary for Germany? What kind of attitude did the opposing parties adopt and what consequences arose from the act? Using the Public Choice theory the author seeks the impact that interest groups had on the developmnet of the situation in Germany at the beginning of the 1930's. |
