| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce "Ekonomie štěstí -- Easterlin paradox" se zabývá novým a ne příliš dobře známou oblastí ekonomie. Práce se věnuje vztahu ekonomie štěstí k ekonomii samotné a její metodologii. V práci je diskutována syntéza ekonomie a ostatních vědních disciplin, jako je psychologie či sociologie. Dále se zabývá vztahem bohatství a štěstí jak na individuální tak na úrovni společenské. Práce analyzuje, jak je odpovídáno na otázky: Jsou bohatší šťastnější? Jsou více ekonomicky rozvinuté národy šťastnější než chudší? Zvětšuje se štěstí -- z časového hlediska -- v závislosti na ekonomickém rozvoji? Výsledky analýzy ukazují existenci pozitivního vztahu bohatství a štěstí uvnitř zemí i mezi zeměmi, nejasný zůstává vztah ekonomického růstu a štěstí. |

| Abstract: | Bachelor thesis "Economics of Happiness -- Easterlin Paradox" deals with new and not very well known areas of economics. The thesis is concerned on the relationship of happiness economics and economy itself and its methodology. There is discussed the synthesis of economics and other disciplines such as psychology and sociology. It also deals with the relation of wealth and happiness on both levels -- individual and social. The thesis analyses the answers of following questions: Are the rich people happier than the poor ones? Are the more economically developed nations happier than the poor ones? Has the happiness been increasing from the time point of view in dependence on the economic development? The results of analysis indicate the existence of a positive relationship of wealth and happiness within countries and between them. The relationship of economic growth and happiness has been unclear. |
