| Abstract: | Tématem mé bakalářské práce je dopad současné ekonomické krize na potencionální produkt. V úvodní části práce popisuji ekonomické teorie, které analyzují hospodářské fluktuace a jejich rozdílnou charakteristiku potencionálního produktu a produkční mezery. Zejména pak Lucasovu verzi neoklasické teorie hospodářského cyklu, která vysvětluje vznik makroekonomických výkyvů neočekávanými změnami objemu peněžní zásoby v ekonomice. Ve druhé části pak popisuji metody, které lze použít pro odhad potencionálního produktu a produkční mezery. Ze statistických metod analyzuji Hodrick-Prescotův filtr a ze skupiny produkčních funkcí pak Cobb-Douglasovu produkční funkci. V závěrečné části práce pak tyto metody aplikuji na případ České republiky, zejména na období současné ekonomické krize a zhodnocuji dopady na potencionální produkt. |

| Abstract: | The topic of my bachelor thesis is an impact of the contemporary economic crisis on the potential product. In the introductory part of my thesis I describe the economic theories that analyze economic fluctuations and their diverse characteristics with which they assess the potential product and output gap. I namely describe the Lucas' version of the neo-classical theory of the economic cycle which explains the origin of macroeconomic variations that are caused by unexpected changes in the volume of money stock in an economy. The second part of my thesis deals with methods that can be used for estimation of the potential product and output gap. From the group of the statistical methods I analyze the Hodrick-Prescott filter, and from the production functions it is the Cobb-Douglas production function. In the concluding part of the thesis I apply these methods to the situation in the Czech Republic, especially to the period of the contemporary economic crisis and I evaluate its impact on the potential product. |
