| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá vliv růstu výše pokut za jízdu na černo v prostředcích městské hromadné dopravy hlavního města Prahy na počet neplatících cestujících. Zároveň se také věnuje vlivu přepravní kontroly jako dopadu změny pravděpodobnosti odhalení. Teoretický rámec této práce vychází z oblasti ekonomie zločinu, konkrétně z děl a článků Garyho S. Beckera a George J. Stiglera. Nastíněn je také herně teoretický model George Tsebelise. Provedená regresní analýza nezamítla vliv jak změny výše pokuty, tak přepravní kontroly, na snížení počtu neplatících cestujících. |

| Abstract: | This paper examines the influence of increased fines for the free-riding in the Prague public transport. At the same time it is also concerned with the impact of the change in the probability of detection induced by the changes of the transport control. The theoretical framework is based on the economics of crime, namely on the books and articles by Gary S. Becker and George J. Stigler. The game theoretical model of George Tsebelis is also included. The regression analysis does not reject the effect of both observed variables in reducing the number of non-paying passengers. |
