| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou dětské práce a jevů s ní souvisejících. Práce si klade za cíl zjistit, zda současné podoby dětské práce v rozvojových zemích jsou srovnatelné s dětskou prací v období průmyslové revoluce v dnešních vyspělých zemích. V práci je rozebírána dětská práce z pohledu řady autorů. Ti analyzují její příčiny, její následky, její legitimitu a způsoby jejího omezení v minulosti i v současnosti. V případové studii je na základě zpracovaných dat porovnávána míra práce dětí ve Velké Británii v druhé polovině 19. století a ve Vietnamu v 90. letech 20. století. Po vyhodnocení získaných údajů v případové studii je potvrzena hypotéza, že domácnosti v dnešních rozvojových zemích se při rozhodování o práci svých dětí nacházejí v obdobné situaci, v jaké byly současné rozvinuté země v období průmyslové revoluce, a že míra práce dětí byla a je závislá na bohatství domácností jak v minulosti, tak v současné době. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis is dealing with the problematic of child labor and effects that are connected with it. The aim of the thesis is to find out, which forms of child labor that are present today are comparable to the child labor that has existed in the times of industrial revolution in countries which are today considered developed. The thesis is dealing with child labor from the point of view of many authors. These authors are analyzing its causes, effects, its legitimacy and also the restrictions on child labor that have been enforced in the past and in the present. In the presented case study, the volume of the child labor is compared based on processed data from the Great Britain in the second half of the 19th century and from Vietnam in 90s of the 20th century. After the evaluation of the data in the case study a hypothesis is confirmed, that the households in modern developing countries are in the same position when it comes to the child labor, in which were today's developed nations in the times of the industrial revolution. And that the extent of child labor has been dependant on the wealth of the family in the past and in much the same way today. |
