Social network in czech tourism - Business plan

The aim of this thesis is to make a complete business plan for creating and running a tourism social network for disabled people. A detailed analysis of the Czech market is made here. It is based on three methods: PEST, Porter and SWOT analyses. Consequently, a new business oportunity for establishing a social network for disabled people was identified. The main opportunities are these: a lack of competition for the network intended and a lack of information about travel possibilities for disabled people. The main risk factor associated with the target group is the financial situation of theirs. There are two main groups the social network shall work with. The first one are its users (disabled people) and communities taking care of them. The other one are business partners who would offer their services on the social networking sites. The social network shall receive a commission for the offers and for the business made. Business plans incl. the expenditure / revenue budget for next three years are made here. This business is not supposed to generate any profit within the first two years of operating. A very important process being filling up the network with information is described here. An external expert publishing articles shall be crucial for it. The information strategy based on the MMDIS concept was developed. Basis principles of the attitude to the IT of the social network were created. The thesis provides a complete guide to all those being interested in creating a tourist social network connected with disabled people and services related as well as to possible investors being interested in investing in such a project and considering the current conditions in the Czech Republic.
