| Abstract: | In the bachelors thesis I analyze number one virtual currency -- Bitcoin. The main objectives are to answer fundamental questions of Bitcoin users, determine its potential, benefits and threats along with possible application for individuals and businesses. The thesis is divided into three sections that introduce virtual currencies, analyze Bitcoin and point out application opportunities. Analysis of Bitcoin determines its value and monetary background together with main threats threatening numerous users. I analyzed several datasets, resolved potential outcomes and compared them to standard currencies and popular payment channels. Furthermore, the thesis covers popular ways of spending and using Bitcoin for individual users as well as opportunities for businesses. |

| Abstract: | V bakalářské práci analyzuji virtuální měnu číslo jedna - Bitcoin. Hlavními cíli této práce je odpovědět na základní otázky uživatelů Bitcoin, určit potenciál této měny, její přínos a hrozby spolu s možným použitím pro individuální uživatele a firmy. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí, které představují virtuální měny, analyzují Bitcoin a poukazují na aplikační možnosti. Analýza Bitcoin rozebírá hodnotu a peněžní zázemí spolu s hlavními hrozbami ohrožujícími mnoho uživatelů. Zanalyzoval jsem několik souborů dat, vyřešil potenciální výsledky a srovnal jsem je se standardními měnami a populárními platebními kanály. Práce dále zahrnuje populární způsoby utrácení a užívání Bitcoin pro jednotlivé uživatele, stejně jako příležitosti pro firmy. |
