| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce "Swapové kontrakty a jejich využití při zajištění měnového rizika" analyzuje měnové swapy jako jednu z možných variant zajištění měnového rizika. Definuje původ, podstatu, průběh, druhy, subjekty i možnosti předčasného zrušení měnových swapů. Práce dále popisuje situace a podmínky, za jakých je vhodné zvolit metodu zajištění měnovým swapem. Z teoretických poznatků poté vychází vyhodnocení využití měnového swapu prostřednictvím konkrétního příkladu, který specifikuje kritéria pro posouzení výhodnosti použitého typu swapu i alternativy zajištění. |

| Abstract: | Bachelor thesis "Swap contracts as a tool for hedging currency risk" analyzes currency swaps as one of the possible methods for hedging currency risk. It defines origin, matter, types, parties of currency swaps and the possibilities of unwinding swaps. The thesis also describes the situations and conditions under which it is advisable to choose a method of hedging with currency swaps. The theoretical findings then help to provide an evaluation of hedging with currency swaps via concrete example which specifies criteria for assessing advantageousness of chosen type of swap as well as alternative methods of hedging techniques. |
