| Abstract: | Cílem mé práce je, na základě analýzy ekonomického vývoje Spojeného království Velké Británie a Severního Irska, zhodnotit vliv světové krize na ekonomiku této země. Práce je dělena do tří kapitol. Cílem první kapitoly je zmapovat ekonomicko-politický vývoj této země od vstupu do Evropských společenství. Ve druhé kapitole se zaměřuji na monetární a fiskální politiku země v období krize a ve třetí kapitole se zabývám dopadem světové finanční krize na Spojené království. Dále se zaměřuji na dopad světové krize na jednotlivé ekonomické ukazatele a na vývoj konkurenceschopnosti země. |

| Abstract: | The aim of my thesis is, based on the analysis of economic development of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, to assess the impact of the global crisis on the economy of this country. The work is divided into three chapters. The aim of the first chapter is to explore the economic and political development of the country since joining the European Community. The second chapter focuses on monetary and fiscal policy of the country in times of crisis and the third chapter deals with the impact of the global financial crisis in the United Kingdom. Furthermore, the third chapter focuses on the impact of the global crisis on individual economic indicators and the development of competitiveness of the United Kingdom. |
