| Abstract: | Cílem této diplomové práce je zhodnotit současnou úroveň singapurského podnikatelského prostředí a detailně analyzovat faktory, jež na něj působí a různou měrou ho ovlivňují. Na základě nabytých znalostí je v rámci diplomové práce odpovězeno na následující otázky: Lze Singapur skutečně objektivně označit za zemi s jedním z nejrozvinutějších a zároveň pro podniky nejpřívětivějších podnikatelských prostředí? Co lze označit za hlavní pozitiva a negativa singapurského podnikatelského prostředí? Diplomová práce je rozčleněna do čtyř kapitol. První z nich se věnuje vymezení v literatuře nejednotně definovaného pojmu "podnikatelské prostředí" a obsahuje teoretický nástin analýzy PEST, z nějž následně vyplývá struktura a obsah práce. Taktéž jsou představeny žebříčky mezinárodních organizací i soukromých firem hodnotící podnikatelské prostředí států, jež jsou používány v průběhu práce. Druhá kapitola pojednává o vnějších vlivech tvořících politické a právní prostředí země, ve třetí kapitole je pozornost soustředěna na singapurské ekonomické prostředí a čtvrtá kapitola se skládá ze dvou podkapitol analyzujících technologické a socio-kulturní prostředí Singapuru. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the quality of the entrepreneurial environment of Singapore and analyse factors which affect and influence it. Throughout the thesis the author tries to find answers to following questions: Can Singapore be objectively considered as a country with one of the most developed and most convenient entrepreneurial environment in the world? The diploma thesis consists of four chapters. In the first one the author looks at different definitions of the term "entrepreneurial environment" and theoretically introduces PEST analysis, which defines the structure of the whole thesis. Moreover the author introduces the rankings and indexes used throughout the thesis which asses the quality of entrepreneurial environment in countries around the world and which are put together by international organizations as well as private companies. Second chapter focuses on political and legal environment in Singapore, in the third chapter the author explains different factors which influence the country's economic environment and in the fourth, final chapter the sociocultural and technology environment is analysed. |
