| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá image města Plzně z pohledu jeho obyvatel. Jejím cílem je teoreticky i empiricky analyzovat image Plzně a zjistit, jak ji vnímají samotní občané. Teoretická část vysvětluje základní pojmy spojené s problematikou image města, s ní související městský marketing a komunikaci s veřejností. V analytické části je představeno město Plzeň z historického, geografického a socioekonomického hlediska. Následně jsou vyhodnoceny výsledky provedeného dotazníkového šetření a na jejich základě jsou v závěru navržena doporučení. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis concentrates on the image of city of Pilsen. Its goal is to theoretically and practically analyze the image of city of Pilsen from the point of view of its inhabitants. The theoretical part deals with the basic concept of image, city marketing and communication with public. The theoretical part describes the city of Pilsen from its historical, geographical and economical point of view. The core of the thesis is a questionnaire survey followed by the interpretation of its results. The final part contains recommendations how to improve the image of the city of Pilsen. |
