| Abstract: | The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of the causes and the impact of the Financial Crisis of 2008. The research is focused on some of the most important aspects of the crisis, in order to present a broader view of the factors that led to the crisis, and the economic events that followed. Finally, the paper examines the impact of the crisis on the leading stocks markets around the world - New York, London, and Tokyo. The research also provides suggestions for improvements in the economic policy and regulations, in order to build a more stable economic environment that is not pro-cyclical. |

| Abstract: | Cílem práce je prozkoumat příčiny a následky finanční krize v roce 2008. Analýza se zaměřuje na hlavní aspekty krize s cílem identifikovat klíčové příčiny a následky globálních finančních turbulencí s důrazem na vyhodnocení dopadů krize na hlavní světové akciové trhy -- New York, Londýn a Tokyo. Dílčím cílem práce je dále formulovat návrhy a doporučení pro zlepšení v oblasti praktické realizace hospodářských politik a regulace s cílem posílit stabilní makroekonomické prostředí. |
