| Abstract: | Finanční trh je jednou z nejregulovanějších částí každé ekonomiky. V posledních 100 letech prošel velmi dramatickým vývojem, jehož součástí byly mnohé pokusy tento vývoj regulovat, převážně v reakci na jednotlivé finanční krize. Diplomová práce popíše a zhodnotí jednotlivé teoretické přístupy k regulaci finančních trhů, ke stanovení cílů jejich regulace a k dohledu nad nimi. Soustředí se na analýzu příčin, projevů a důsledků poslední finanční krize z let 2007 - 2009 v USA a v Evropě. Pokusí se zjistit míru odpovědnosti regulátorů za tuto poslední finanční krizi. Jádrem práce bude zhodnocení návrhů a diskutovaných opatření směřujících ke stabilizaci finančních trhů, zdokonalení jejich regulace a dohledu nad nimi jednak v USA, jednak v Evropské unii. |

| Abstract: | Financial market is one of the most regulated parts of every economy. Over the last 100 years, it has undergone the dramatic evolution, including many attempts to regulate such an evolution, especially in response to particular financial crises. This thesis describes and evaluates various theoretical approaches to the regulation of financial markets, setting objectives of their regulation and their supervision. It focuses especially on the analysis of the causes, accompanying effects and consequences of the last financial crisis of 2007 2009 in the USA and Europe. It attempts to determine the degree of the regulators' responsibility for this last financial crisis. The core of work evaluates the proposals and discussed measures leading to stabilization of financial markets, improvement of their regulation and supervision both in the USA and in the European Union. |
