| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá oblastí řízení a spolupráce v multikulturním týmu s důrazem na kulturní problematiku. Cílem této diplomové práce je zhodnocení dosavadních postupů při vedení a vnitřním fungování konkrétního multikulturního týmu a navržení doporučení možných postupů pro zlepšení efektivnosti spolupráce se zřetelem na řešení problémů způsobených střety národních kultur členů týmu. K tomu je využito především Hofstedeho dimenzí, které jsou pro analyzování kultur převážně v pracovním prostředí vhodné. Dále jsou zmíněny i dimenze dle Trompenaarse a Halla. Výzkum pro praktickou část byl prováděn na konkrétním multikulturním týmu v Evropské komisi v Belgii. Použitými metodami byly strukturované dotazníky a osobní rozhovory. Výsledkem práce je navržení doporučení pro efektivnější řízení a spolupráci zkoumaného týmu. |

| Abstract: | This Master`s Thesis deals with the management and cooperation in a multicultural team with an emphasis on cultural issues. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the existing procedures of the management and the internal workings of a particular multicultural team and to propose recommendations for possible ways of improving the effectiveness of cooperation with a view to solving the problems caused by clashes of national cultures of team members. For this are used Hofstede`s dimensions which are suitable for the analysis of cultures predominantly in the working environment. Further there are also mentioned dimensions by Trompenaars and Hall. Research for the practical part was carried out in a specific multicultural team at the European Commission in Belgium. The methods used were structured questionnaires and personal interviews. The result of this work is to propose recommendations for effective management and team collaboration. |
