| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá postojem Velké Británie k evropské integraci v 70. letech 20. století. V první části vysvětluje příčiny změny názoru britské vlády na členství v EHS. Hlavní část práce tvoří analýza podmínek a důsledků, které se vstupem souvisely. Zabývá se problematikou příspěvku do společného rozpočtu, aplikací společného celního sazebníku a společné zemědělské politiky. Nakonec se zaměřuje na referendum o setrvání v EHS, v němž vyjádřilo podporu pro členství 67 % voličů. V závěru nastiňuje problémy se znehodnocením britské libry a nabídku účasti v EMS, která byla odmítnuta britskou vládou. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the British attitude to European integration in 1970s. In first part are explained reasons of the change of British government's opinion to the membership in EEC. The main part of this thesis is an analysis of terms and consequences which were related with the entry. The thesis deals with problems of contribution to Community budget, with application of the Common External Tariff and of Common Agricultural Policy. At last the thesis focuses on referendum about remaining in the EEC in which the support of membership was expressed by 67 % of voters. In the end this thesis outlines problems with depreciation of British Pound and an offer of participation in EMS which was rejected by British government. |
