| Abstract: |
Tématem této práce je vyhledávání informací, hlavně vyhledávání informací v prostředí internetu. První část práce obsahuje vysvětlení pojmů s vyhledáváním spojených, rozdílné teoretické analýzy týkající se například popularity vyhledávačů. Je zde uveden historický vývoj vyhledávání informací od dob bez internetu přes současnost až po předpovídanou budoucnosti. Jedna z kapitol je určena lokálnímu vyhledávání, která zkoumá, jak je vyhledávání v českém jazyce odlišné od vyhledávání v angličtině. V praktické části práce je proveden rozsáhlý průzkum, který demonstruje chování obyčejného uživatele. V průzkumu je zakomponován i test, který odhaluje nedostatky, ale i schopnosti, které by na sebe za jiných okolností uživatel neprozradil. Průzkum a jeho následné zhodnocení mapuje nejčastější uživatelské chyby, jejich vysvětlení a tipy k jejich eliminaci. V poslední části práce je představeno, jak docílit lepších výsledků vyhledávání a čeho se naopak vyvarovat. Cílem práce je pochopení chování uživatele při vyhledávání informací a snaha o vylepšení jeho postupů. |

| Abstract: |
The topic of this thesis is search of the information, especially search of the information on internet. The first part of this thesis contains the explanation of the concepts associated with the search, different theoretical analysis of the popularity of search engines, i.e. There are mentionned the historical progress of search of the information, since the time without the Internet, through the present to a predicted future. One of the chapters is dedicated to the local search and examines how the search in Czech language differs from the searching in English. The practical part of this thesis is composed of an extensive survey which demonstrates the behavior of an ordinary user. A special test is one part of the survey and it reveals weaknesses, but also the abilities of users. The survey and its follow-up evaluation map the most frequent users' errors, their explanations and also the tips for elimination of these errors. In the last part of this thesis there are demonstrated the ways how to achieve better search results and on the contrary how to avoid the errors. The main aim of this thesis is to understand of users' behavior while searching information and secondly, to improve these procedures. |
