| Abstract: | Předmětem diplomové práce je vývoj Visegrádské skupiny od jejího založení až po současnost a formy spolupráce. Cílem je poukázat na fungování a smysl Visegrádské skupiny i po splnění cílů, které byly stanoveny při jejím vzniku, a zjistit charakter spolupráce. Práce se zpočátku zabývá historickým vývojem uskupení a významem jediné instituce, a to Mezinárodního visegrádského fondu. Další část se zaobírá postavením zemí Visegrádské skupiny v Evropské unii, konkrétně hlasovacím potenciálem, Východním partnerstvím a předsednictvím skupiny v Radě EU. Nakonec jsou představeny úspěchy spolupráce, které potvrzují fakt, že visegrádská spolupráce má smysl i po splnění původních cílů, ačkoliv se ukázalo, že spolupráce má různý charakter. |

| Abstract: | The subject of this thesis is the development of the Visegrad Group from the foundation to present and forms of cooperation. The aim is to focus on the function and meaning of the Visegrad Group after achievement of the objectives that were set at its inception, and identify the nature of cooperation. Firstly, the thesis analyzes the historical development of the group, meaning a single institution - International Visegrad Fund. The next part deals with the position of the Visegrad Group countries in the European Union, namely the voting potential, the Eastern Partnership and the Presidency of the EU Council. Finally, the success of the cooperation presented that the visegrad cooperation makes sense after fulfilling the original aims, although it turned out that cooperation has a different character. |
