| Abstract: | Práce vymezuje dopad událostí Arabského jara na další spolupráci vybraných zemí dotčeného regionu s Evropskou unií. Teoretická část je zaměřena na historicko-politická východiska proběhlých či stále probíhajících revolucí. Dále je vymezeno a definováno Arabské jaro jako fenomén z hlediska jak regionálního a časového, tak podle jeho příčin a motivů. Následně jsou stručně popsány události Arabského jara ve vybraných zemích. Praktická část se zabývá politicko-ekonomickými vztahy států EU se státy Středomoří. Autorka nabízí vlastní klasifikaci zemí podle výsledků protestů. Závěr praktické části je věnován dopadům Arabského jara na hospodářský vývoj dotčených zemí a na vztahy s EU a nastínění možného budoucího vývoje vybraných zemí regionu. |

| Abstract: | This thesis defines the impact of the events of the Arab Spring on further cooperation of selected countries of the region with the European Union. The theoretical part focuses on the historical and political basis of the foregone or still ongoing revolutions. In the next part the Arab Spring as a phenomenon is outlined and defined in terms of regional extent and time scale, as well as according to its causes and motives. Subsequently, the events of the Arab Spring in selected counties are briefly described. The practical part addresses the political and economic relations of the EU with the countries of the Mediterranean. The author offers a unique classification of countries according to the outcomes of the protests. The conclusion of the practical part evaluates the impact of the Arab Spring on the economic growth of the countries concerned, as well as on their relations with the EU, and outlines possible future development of selected countries in the region. |
