| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je charakterizovat přední islámské lobbistické organizace působící ve Spojených státech amerických a následně zanalyzovat jejich vliv na fungování americké jak zahraniční, tak domácí politiky. Ve třech kapitolách je tak čtenář nejprve seznámen s pojmem lobbing a s fenoménem zájmových skupin v USA, následně s imigrací a integrací muslimů ve Spojených státech a se vzájemnými vztahy muslimské a nemuslimské společnosti po 11. září 2001, a konečně především s jednotlivými islámskými lobbistickými organizacemi působícími v USA a jejich vlivem na americkou politiku a prezidentské volby. |

| Abstract: | The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to characterize the leading Islamic lobby groups in the United States and analyse their influence on the US foreign and domestic policy as well. Three chapters make the reader familiar at first with the term lobbying and the phenomenon of interest groups in the USA, then with the immigration and integration of Muslims in the United States and with mutual relations of Muslim and non-Muslim society after 9/11, and finally and most importantly, with particular Islamic lobby groups in the USA and their influence on US policy and presidential election. |
