| Abstract: | Island získal nezávislost až v roce 1944 a od té doby si držel odstup od jakékoli hlubší formy integrace probíhající na kontinentu. Po finanční krizi, která zasáhla zemi v roce 2008, se však islandská zahraniční politika Evropě na čas otevřela podáním přihlášky do EU. Nadšení pro členství však rychle opadlo a ve volbách v roce 2013 znovu zvítězily euroskeptické strany, které ve členství v EU vidí ohrožení vlastního suverénního státu. Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat a porovnat zdroje euroskepticismu na Islandu a v ostatních státech Skandinávie. Dílčím cílem je pak porovnat postoje jednotlivých parlamentních stran a zařadit je do Taggartovy typologie stranického euroskepticismu. |

| Abstract: | Iceland did not declare its independence until 1944 and since then, the country has kept its distance from any form of deeper integration taking place on the continent. After the financial crisis that struck the country in 2008, Icelandic foreign policy became opened to Europe and applied for membership in the EU. However, the enthusiasm for membership soon faded away and eurosceptic parties won again in the 2013 elections. These parties see a potential threat to the sovereignty of their country in the EU membership. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and compare the sources of euroscepticism in Iceland and in other Scandinavian countries. The intermediate objective is a comparison of individual parliamentary parties and their categorization in Taggart's typology of party euroscepticism. |
