| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce řeší vývoj zahradních měst na území hlavního města Prahy založených v průběhu 20. a 30. let 20. století. V teoretické části práce se řeší problematika zahradního města z pohledu autora myšlenky Ebenezera Howarda a také zkoumá znaky, která by zahradní města měla nést. Praktická část řeší a analyzuje vývoj zahradních měst a hledá faktory, jenž se podílí na vývoji zahradních měst, a zároveň lokality hodnotí z pohledu teorie. Závěry práce vychází z vlastní swot analýzy a pozorování, z kterého se při vyvozování jednotlivých faktorů bude vycházet. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis describes the garden city movement in Prague area during 20s and 30s of the 20th century. Within the theoretical part of the thesis, the subject of the garden city is dealt from the Ebenezer Howard's point of view and neccessary characteristics of garden cities are defined. Second part analyzes development of garden cities and evaluates the core factors responsible for continuous progress of garden cities. The conclusion is drawn from an authentic swot analysis of which results are compared to the theory. |
