| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je představit základní využití metody bootstrap ve statistice. V následujících kapitolách bude vysvětleno fungování metody bootstrap, aplikace této metody pro odhadování směrodatné odchylky, vychýlení odhadu a pro tvorbu intervalů spolehlivosti. Taktéž v této práci bude prezentována možnost využití metody bootstrap pro testování statistických hypotéz. Následně budou tyto metody aplikovány na reálná či simulovaná data. Bude-li to možné, metoda bootstrap bude porovnána s analytickým přístupem. Práce bude členěna do pěti hlavních kapitol, vyjma úvodu. První z těchto pěti kapitol před-staví některé světové autory zabývající se bootstrapem a jejich knihy. Následující kapitola bude jakýmsi úvodem do problematiky. Třetí část se bude zabývat aplikací metody bootstrap pro hodnocení kvality bodových odhadů. V čtvrté části budou představeny aplikace některých metod bootstrapu pro tvorbu intervalů spolehlivosti. V poslední části této práce se budu zabývat testováním statistických hypotéz za pomoci metody bootstrap. |

| Abstract: | The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce the basic utilization of bootstrap in statistics. In following chapters will be explained the functionality of bootstrap, applications of this method on estimating of standard errors of estimators, biases of estimators and creating of interval estimates. In this bachelor thesis will be also presented the possibility of utilization bootstrap for statistical hypothesis testing. Afterwards these methods will be used on real or simulated datasets. If possible bootstrap methods will be compared with the analytic approach. Excluding the preface the whole thesis is divided into five parts. The first part introduces several authors (as well as their books) who contributed largely to the theory and application of bootstrap. The next chapter serves as an introduction to the topic of bootstrap. The third part will deal with the application of bootstrap in evaluating the quality of estimators. In the fourth several bootstrap methods for constructing interval estimates will be introduced. The last chapter of this thesis is devoted to statistical hypothesis testing using the bootstrap approach. |
