| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce popisuje Centrálního depozitáře cenných papírů, a.s. Centrální depozitář cenných papírů, a.s. je dceřinou společností Burzy cenných papírů Praha, a.s., která v roce 2009 získala povolení k činnosti centrálního depozitáře a v polovině roku 2010 převzala evidenci cenných papírů po Středisku cenných papírů. Úvodní část práce popisuje podstatu fungování centrálního depozitáře a podstatu fungování Střediska cenných papírů. V hlavní části práce jsou z pohledu dotčených subjektů hodnoceny přínosy a náklady fungování centrálního depozitáře oproti stavu, kdy by evidenci cenných papírů i nadále vedlo Středisko cenných papírů. V závěrečné části jsou shrnuty zjištěné přínosy a náklady a určeno, zdali zavedení centrálního depozitáře přineslo více přínosů než nákladů. |

| Abstract: | This thesis describes Centrální depozitář cenných papírů, a.s. Centrální depozitář cenných papírů, a.s. is a subsidiary of Burza cenných papírů Praha, a.s. Centrální depozitář cenných papírů, a.s. was granted permission to operate as a Central Depository in 2009. In July 2010, Centrální depozitář cenných papírů, a.s. took over the records of securities maintained by Středisko cenných papírů. In the first part of the work there is mainly described the essence of functioning of the Central Depository and the nature of operation of Středisko cenných papírů. In the main part of the thesis there is the comparison of the benefits and costs of the Central Depository. The final section summarize the benefits and costs of the Central Depository. |
