| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá suverénními fondy, které patří mezi významné státní investiční subjekty. Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnotit aktivitu suverénních fondů jako celku a posoudit, zda je jejich činnost spíše přínosem nebo hrozbou pro ekonomiku. V první části se práce zabývá obecnou charakteristikou státních investičních fondů, tedy jejich definicí, historií a funkcí. Druhá část je pak zaměřena na aktiva suverénních fondů, zejména jejich objem, alokaci a s tím spojenou strategii a cíle. Následně se práce věnuje aktuálním otázkám týkajících se suverénních fondů, a sice potenciálním hrozbám a transparentnosti. V poslední řadě práce zkoumá dopady investic suverénních fondů na jednotlivé země a globální ekonomiku. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis focuses on sovereign wealth funds, which belong to important state investment entities. The main objective of the thesis is to assess the activity of sovereign wealth funds as a whole and assess, whether their activity is rather benefit or threat to economy. In the first part there is considered a genereal characteristic of sovereign wealth funds, particularly their definition, history and function. The second part aims at the assets of sovereign wealth funds, especially the volume, alocation and related strategy and objectives. Subsequently the thesis deals with current questions concerning sovereign wealth funds, namely potential threats and transparency. Lastly the thesis looks at impacts of investments of sovereign wealth funds on the countries and global economy. |
