| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se věnuje roli jednotlivce při tvorbě zahraniční politiky a faktorům, které ovlivňují politika v rozhodování, dále pak osobnosti Ariela Šarona a jeho celoživotnímu vlivu na izraelsko-palestinský konflikt. Práce se zabývá Šaronovým působením v izraelské armádě a izraelské politice, jeho celoživotním přístupem k izraelsko-palestinskému konfliktu včetně podpory politiky výstavby židovských osad. Zvláštní kapitola je věnována jeho rozhodnutí jednostranného stažení Izraele z pásma Gazy. V práci jsou shrnuty faktory, které vedly Šarona k tomuto rozhodnutí, a důsledky tohoto rozhodnutí pro Šarona, Izrael a pásmo Gazy. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the role of individuals in foreign policy, factors, which influence politician's decision-making and with the personality of Ariel Sharon and his lifelong influence on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The thesis is devoted to Sharon's career in Israeli army and politics and to his life's attitude to the conflict. Special part of the thesis deals with his disengagement plan and with the reasons of this decision. There are also introduced the consequences of the disengagement for Sharon, Israeli and the Gaza strip. |
