| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce analyzuje a hodnotí postavení SPA HOTELU THERMAL na trhu. Hlavním cílem práce je analýza hotelu a služeb poskytovaných v hotelu Thermal a zhodnocení nevýhod, resp. výhod, které hotel má v souvislosti s tím, že je vlastněný státem. Práce je rozdělená do dvou částí. První část práce popisuje historii ubytovacích zařízení a jejich význam, zabývá se rozdělením ubytovacích zařízení a organizační strukturou středně velkého hotelu. Druha část je věnována hotelu Thermal, zaměřuje se na jeho historii, poskytované služby a analyzuje jeho největší konkurenty v Karlových Varech. Po zhodnocení konkurenčních hotelů je vytvořena SWOT analýza hotelu Thermal. Poslední kapitola se soustřeďuje na nevýhody, které hotel má v oblasti personální politiky, způsobu financování a legislativě. |

| Abstract: | The thesis analyses and evaluates a market position of SPA HOTEL THERMAL. The main aim of my thesis is the analysis of the hotel and services that are provided in the hotel and also to find out advantages and disadvantages of being owned by the state. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part deals with the history and development of hospitality, general features of the hotel and defines the basic concept of organization and organizing. The practical part of work is focused directly on the hotel Thermal. Second part describes the history of the hotel Thermal, analyses the services and evaluates a market position of the hotel in the environment of four private enterprises. This part also includes SWOT analysis. The last chapter deals with the disadvantages the hotel has in personnel policy, the way the hotel is financed and legislation. |
