| Abstract: | Cílem této páce je identifikovat a zhodnotit kulturní standardy na pracovišti a v obchodním prostředí z pohledu Čechů, kteří žili, či žijí ve Velké Británii, nebo jsou s Brity dlouhodobě v pracovním a obchodním styku. Teoretická část práce se zabývá teorií kultury, kulturními dimenzemi a oblastmi interkulturní spolupráce. Praktická část podává základní socioekonomickou a historickou analýzu Velké Británie. Výzkum práce je proveden podle metody identifikace kulturních standardů pomocí hloubkových rozhovorů. Zjištěné standardy jsou analyzovány na základě teoretických východisek a socioekonomického kontextu Velké Británie. V neposlední řadě autorka podává doporučení pro Čechy chystající se pracovat nebo obchodovat s Brity. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to identify and evaluate cultural standards at workplace and business environment from perspective of Czechs who live or lived in Great Britain or are in long-term work or business relationship with British. The theoretical part deals with culture theory, cultural dimensions and fields of intercultural cooperation. The practical part gives basic socio-economical and historical analysis of Great Britain. The research is conducted according to cultural standards identification method, specifically by in-depth interviews. Cultural standard findings are analyzed on theoretical basis and on socio-economic and historical context of Great Britain. Last, the author gives recommendation to Czechs who plan to work or trade with British. |
