| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá dopadem rozvoje technologií na letecký průmysl. V první části je popsána stručná historie letectví a její nejdůležitější milníky. V další kapitole jsou zanalyzovány současné technologie v jednotlivých oblastech letectví od provozně-obchodních činností, přes letiště, podniky řízení letového provozu až po cestující. Následující kapitola popisuje budoucí směry rozvoje technologií, zejména týkající se ekologie a automatizace činností. V poslední kapitole je porovnána letecká doprava s železniční jako její potenciální zdroj ohrožení na krátkých a středně dlouhých trasách. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with the impact of technology development on the aerospace industry. The first part describes brief history of aviation and its most important milestones. In the next chapter, current technologies are analyzed in aviation, from commercial and operational activities, through airports, air traffic controllers to passengers. The following chapter describes future trends in technology development, especially regarding the ecology and automation of activities. The last chapter compares air transport with rail as its potential source of threat on short and medium distances. |
