| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá postavením mužů a žen na pozicích nelékařského zdravotnického personálu, konkrétně ve funkci všeobecné sestry. Cílem práce je prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření porovnat postavení mužů a žen - všeobecných sester a na základě stanovených hypotéz zhodnotit, zda jsou muži na této pozici vnímáni stejně jako ženy, jestli je jejich nízké zastoupení způsobeno genderovými předsudky a zda by zdravotničtí pracovníci i veřejnost uvítali více mužů pracujících na této pozici. Teoretická část je věnována pojmu gender, historii ošetřovatelství, vzdělávání a specifikaci práce všeobecné sestry a postavení mužů a žen ve zdravotnictví v ČR a ve světě. Výzkumná část se pak zabývá analýzou a interpretací výsledků získaných z dotazníkových šetření určených nejen všeobecným sestrám, ale i široké veřejnosti. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with the position of men and women on the position of non-medical staff, namely on the position of general nurse. The aim of this thesis is, through questionnaire survey, to compare the position of men and women working as general nurses. Then, on the basis of gained results and determined hypothesis evaluate, if men are perceived same as women, whether their low number is caused by gender prejudices and if healthcare personnel and the general public want more men on this position. Theoretical part is devoted to gender, history of nursing, education and specification of general nurse's work and position of men and women in health care in the Czech Republic and the world. The research part deals with the analysis and interpretation of results from the questionnaire surveys designed not only for general nurses, but also for the public. |
