| Abstract: | Cílem bakalářské práce je přiblížení problematiky podvodů objevujících se v účetnictví. První kapitola se nejprve snaží vymezit hranici mezi samotným podvodem a tzv. kreativním účetnictvím a upozornit na hlavní rozdíly mezi nimi, protože mnohokrát dochází k záměně těchto termínů. V druhé kapitole jsou uvedeny nejčastější motivy, které účetní podvody vyvolávají. Jednotlivé metody využívané při manipulaci s účetnictvím jsou pak popsány v kapitole třetí, jež se zaměřuje nejen na podvody v rámci účetní závěrky, ale také podvody, které se odehrávají mimo ni. Na tuto kapitolu poté navazují příklady reálných podvodů spáchaných nejen v zahraničí, ale i v České republice. Závěr práce se zaměřuje na různé způsoby prevence, s jejichž pomocí můžeme vzniku těchto podvodů předcházet. |

| Abstract: | The main aim of barchelor thesis is to look at frauds in accounting. The first chapter tries to define the border between fraud and creative accounting and to highlight the main differences because these terms can be often mistaken. In the second chapter there are incentives that cause fraudulent behaviour. The third chapter elaborates various ways of frauds in accountancy which appear not only in financial statements but also out of them. The next chapter includes examples of real frauds committed in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. The conclusion looks at several ways of prevention which can help us fighting against frauds. |
