| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na postavení žen na trhu práce v rámci Evropské unie. Cílem práce je přiblížit genderovou problematiku a objasnit současnou situaci žen na trhu práce. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou na základě studia odborné literatury vymezena základní teoretická východiska pro pochopení a zpracování praktického úseku. Dále je nastíněn legislativní rámec rovných příležitostí mužů a žen v České republice i Evropské unii. Nakonec je popsán historický vývoj přístupu k ženám, a to nejen na trhu práce, ale ve společnosti obecně. V praktické části je srovnána situace žen na trhu práce v ČR v komparaci s ostatními zeměmi EU, identifikovány hlavní problémy v postavení žen na českém trhu práce a zmapovány názory studentů VŠE na danou problematiku. Na závěr jsou podány návrhy a doporučení, které by mohly vést ke zlepšení v této oblasti. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis focuses on problematics of the position of women in the labor market within the European Union. The aim of the thesis is to introduce gender issue and clarify the current situation of women in the labor market. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts: the theoretical and the practical part. Literature based theoretical part explains the main terms and definitions for understanding and performing the research in the practical part. It also outlines the legislative framework for equal opportunities for men and women in the Czech Republic and the European Union. Furthermore, I described the historical development of approach to women, not only in the labor market, but in the society in general. The practical part examines the situation of women in the labor market in the Czech Republic in comparison with other EU countries, identifies the main problems of equal opportunities in the Czech labor market and explores university students' opinions on the whole issue. In conclusion, I proposed suggestions and recommendations that could lead to improvements in this area. |
