| Abstract: | Od 90. let minulého století se olejniny staly jednou z hlavních zemědělských plodin pěstovaných v České republice a jejich význam v rámci národního hospodářství neustále roste. Tento trend je však často připisován legislativním opatřením v oblasti biopaliv, pro jejichž výrobu jsou v České republice olejniny hlavní surovinou. Z toho důvodu se v teoretické části mé práce snažím ukázat, že olejniny mají mnohem širší využití a jejich pěstování má v naší republice určitou tradici. Hlavním cílem mé práce je analýza vývoje cen olejnin v letech 2008 -- 2010. Díky světové finanční krizi byl vývoj cen všech zemědělských komodit v tomto období nestandardní. Ověřuji, zda olejniny podlehly trendům na komoditních trzích. Zkoumám, jaké faktory působily na jejich cenu, zjišťuji, jaké zákonitosti platí na trhu olejnin. Díky svým poznatkům můžu hodnotit některá kontroverzní tvrzení ohledně zvyšování cen potravin a docházím k závěru, že biopaliva nejsou v současné době hlavním faktorem působícím na jejich cenu. |

| Abstract: | Since the early nineties oil plants became one of the most grown agricultural crop plants in the Czech Republic and their importance in the national economy is still increasing. This trend is often associated with the legislation of biofuels, because oil plants are the main ingredient for the production of biofuels in the Czech Republic. That is the reason why I try to show in the theoretical part of my thesis that oil plants could have broader use. The history of growing oil plants in the Czech Republic is significant. The main goal of my thesis is to analyse development of prices in the years 2008-2010. The development of agricultural commodities was non-standard in that period because of the financial crisis. I verify if the oil plants price development was in accordance with the development on the agricultural commodity market. I research the factors that influence the prices and the rules that are valid on this market. I evaluate some controversial questions about increasing the prices of food in my research. My conclusion is that the biofuels are not the main factor for food price level. |
