| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje finanční analýze pojišťovny UNIQA a. s. v letech 2008-2015. První a druha část práce se zabývá teoretickými východisky pro finanční analýzu podnikatelských subjektů a zmiňuje specifika hospodaření komerčních pojišťoven. Ve třetí části je charakterizována vybraná pojišťovna a provedena samotná finanční analýza na základě běžných poměrových ukazatelů a ukazatelů speciálně upravených pro finanční analýzu pojišťoven. Poslední část práce je zaměřena na srovnání vývoje jednotlivých finančních ukazatelů oproti jiné stejně velké pojišťovně a oproti celému pojistnému trhu. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the financial analysis of the insurance company UNIQA a. s. during the period 2008-2015. The first and the second part of the thesis deal with the theoretical basis for financial analysis of business entities and mention the specifics of the management of commercial insurance companies. The third part characterizes the chosen insurance company and the financial analysis on the basis of common ratios and indicators specially adapted for financial analysis of insurance companies is included in the part. The last part of the thesis is focused on the comparison of the development of individual financial indicators to another equally large insurance company and to the whole insurance market. |
