| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá energetickou bezpečností Ruské federace. Poskytuje přehled o fungování nejdůležitějších sektorů ruského energetického odvětví a poukazuje na ústřední problémy sektoru. V práci je analyzována dohoda o dodávkách zemního plynu do Číny a její význam pro ruskou energetiku. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda dohoda představuje krok na cestě k vyřešení problémů ruského energetického sektoru zejména v podobě snížení závislosti na dodávkách surovin do evropského regionu. Dále je cílem zhodnotit prohlubující se spolupráci Ruska a Číny ve vojenské, měnové a diplomatické rovinách a určit, zda vztah mezi těmito velmocemi lze považovat za strategické partnerství. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis analyzes energy security of the Russian federation. The thesis provides an overview of the Russian energy sector and looks into its central problems. The Russia-China gas deal and its importance for the Russia energy sector is being examined in this thesis. The main objective of the thesis is to define whether this deal can be considered a solution to the main problems of the Russian energetics, especially its dependence on the European market. This thesis also aims to evaluate the Sino-Russian military, financial and diplomatic cooperation in order to find out whether the relation between Russia and China can be described as a strategic partnership. |
