Abstract:
This paper contains the business plan of the Düsseldorf-based lifestyle-beverage startup BOTTLED GmbH. The author has specifically outlined the challenges of a startup in the German beverage industry and explains how BOTTLED’s unique selling proposition differentiates itself from small and big companies in the market. The holistic and integrated business strategies BOTTLED perseus can lead the startup to success, if it finds an external investor providing BOTTLED with a cash influx to cover its operating expenses for the fiscal years of 2017 - 2020. This business plan highlights how BOTTLED would use the investment to achieve growing revenues and profitability. The startup concentrates on very focussed patterns of business operations; maintaining this focus while growing sales over the next years in a planned manner will allow BOTTLED to yield profitable returns and to establish a new lifestyle oriented beverage brand in the market. This paper is a very realistic reflection of the startup’s situation and aims to convince potential investors of the value BOTTLED represents to target consumers and shareholders.
