| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou jednotlivých mzdových determinantů a jejich vlivem na výšku mezd v České republice. Data pocházejí z dotazníkového šetření společnosti Profesia CZ z let 2014 a 2015. Model založený na Mincerově funkci, odhadnutý pomocí zobecněné metody nejmenších čtverců pak ukazuje, že každý dodatečný rok studia zvyšuje mzdu o 6,5 až 7,8 %. Přítomna je také hrubá mzdová mezera mezi pohlavími ve výši 20 %, která byla méně výrazná v Praze. Maximum výdělků pracovníka v průběhu života přichází okolo 43. roku života. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor’s thesis aims to analyze individual wage determinants and their influence on wages in the Czech Republic. The data used in this thesis come from a questionnaire survey conducted by Profesia CZ in the years 2014 and 2015. The model, based on the Mincerian function and estimated by the generalized least square method, shows tha each additional year of education increases wages by 6.5 to 7.8 %. There is also a gross gender wage gap of 20 % which was slightly less pronounced in Prague. The peak of a worker’s lifetime earnings comes around the 43th year of age. |
