| Abstract: | Cílem bakalářské práce je zanalyzovat reformu amerického zdravotnictví Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act z roku 2010 a komparovat ji s návrhem zákona American Health Care Act z března roku 2017. V teoretické části je obsaženo srovnání hlavních modelů zdravotnictví ve světě a detailněji popsán systém zdravotní péče v USA. V praktické části je obsažena podrobnější analýza a komparace obou legislativ za pomoci fiktivních agentů získávající zdravotní pojištění na neskupinovém trhu. Hlavním výstupem práce je potvrzení hypotézy, že v případě přijetí studovaného návrhu zákona by určitým skupinám obyvatel prohibitivně zdražilo pojistné a celkový počet nepojištěných osob by vzrostl. |

| Abstract: | The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and to compare it with the American Health Care Act of March 2017. The theoretical part contains a comparison of the main healthcare models in the world and a more detailed description of the healthcare system in the USA. The practical part contains a more detailed analysis and comparison of both legislations with the help of fictitious agents who receive health insurance on the non-group market. The main output of the thesis is the confirmation of the hypothesis that, if the studied bill was adopted, certain groups of citizens would face higher premiums and the total number of uninsured persons would increase. |
