| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá vztahem mezi zvolenými faktory a pohonnými hmotami. Konkrétně se jedná o následující faktory – cena ropy, síla dolaru, světová ropná produkce, světové HDP. Pomocí Grangerova testu kauzality je zjišťováno, zda mají tyto faktory vliv na cenu benzínu a cenu nafty v České republice a ve Spojených státech amerických. Dále práce obsahuje zhodnocení, zda existují významné rozdíly mezi vztahem na komoditní burze a obdobným vztahem u maloobchodních cen v těchto vybraných zemích. Práce nabízí čtenáři komplexní vhled do problematiky, všechny zmiňované faktory jsou podrobně popsány a podrobeny ekonometrické analýze. V závěru práce je diskutován vliv všech faktorů. |

| Abstract: | Diploma thesis is dealing with a relationship between chosen factors and fuels. Following factors are concerned – crude oil price, strength of the dollar, world crude oil production and world GDP. The relationship between these factors and gasoline and diesel prices in the Czech Republic and the United States of America is tested by Granger causality test. Evaluation of this relationship on the commodity exchange in contrast to prices in chosen countries is also a part of this thesis. The thesis offers a comprehensive view of this issue which means that all these factors are described in detail and then analyzed. The last part contains a discussion of the influence of all mentioned factors. |
