| Abstract: | Konkurenceschopnost vyspělých zemí spočívá stále více ve specifickém know-how a inovační kapacitě a pouze kvalitativně založená výkonnost je považována pro nákladově náročně ekonomiky za dlouhodobě udržitelnou. Konkurenceschopné země jsou tak zeměmi postavenými na inovacích a znalostní ekonomice. Ani ČR v tomto ohledu nemůže být výjimkou. Proto cílem této diplomové práce bylo na základě desk research a analýzy dostupných dat monitorovacích indikátorů Národního strategického referenčního rámce a operačních programů Podnikání a Inovace a Věda a Vývoj pro Inovace hodnocení konkurenceschopnosti podnikatelského sektoru v oblasti Vědy a výzkumu v ČR, a zároveň validace hypotézy, zda přinesly finanční prostředky kohezní politiky čerpané z EU v období 2007 – 2013 zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti podnikatelského sektoru zejména v oblasti znalostní ekonomiky.Hypotéza nebyla potvrzena - finanční prostředky kohezní politiky čerpané z EU v období 2007 – 2013 zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti podnikatelského sektoru zejména v oblasti znalostní ekonomiky nepřinesly a to hlavně proto, že v ČR bylo sice vybudováno obrovské množství infrastruktury, která ale v programovém období 2007-2013 nebyla naplno uvedena do provozu v souvislosti s podnikatelským prostředím. Infrastruktura sama o sobě zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti přinést ještě nemůže. Je nutné nejdříve tato centra rozvinout, zkomercionalizovat a propojit vědecko - výzkumnou sféru s podnikatelskými záměry, což je očekáváno až v programovém období 2014-2020. |

| Abstract: | Competitiveness of the advanced states is more and more focused on specific know-how and innovation capacity. Only the effectiveness based on quality is considered sustainable in long-term for cost oriented economics. The competitive countries are therefore based on innovations and knowledge based economy. Even the Czech Republic cannot be an exception. Therefore the aim of this thesis is to evaluate competitiveness of the business sector in Czech rep. in the fields of science and research using desk research method and monitoring reports analysis. The second aim of this thesis is to assess, whether the financial assets from EU in years 2007 - 2013 led to increased competitiveness of the business sector.The hypothesis was not confirmed, the financial subsidy did not increase the business sector competitiveness due to the fact that the built infrastructure in question was not fully commercialized and properly connected to the business environment, which is expected to happen in this program period in years 2014 - 2020. |
