| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce si dává za cíl provést finanční analýzu společnosti OMV Česká republika, s. r. o. za roky 2011 až 2015. Výsledné hodnoty jsou porovnány s hodnotami dosaženými u konkurenční společnosti Shell Czech Republic a. s. a s daným odvětvím reprezentovaným deseti největšími petrolejářskými společnostmi v České republice.Diplomová práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část je pouze teoretická a zabývá se popisem metodiky finanční analýzy zahrnující vybrané ukazatele a modely. Druhá část práce je aplikační a zde je již použita vymezená metodika k sestavení samotné finanční analýzy, k mezipodnikovému srovnání, k porovnání hodnot v rámci odvětví a ke zhodnocení finanční situace a finančního zdraví zmíněné společnosti. Závěr práce shrnuje zjištěné výsledky, analyzuje celkovou finanční situaci a v neposlední řadě poukazuje na slabé či silné stránky hodnocené společnosti. |

| Abstract: | The main goal of this diploma thesis is to perform a financial analysis of OMV Česká republika, s. r. o. for the years 2011-2015 and to compare results of this analysis with the rival company Shell Czech Republic a. s. and with the results achived in the given industrial sector represented by 10 biggest oil and gas companies in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and describes the methodology of the financial analysis including selected financial indicators, ratios and models. In the second part, the financial analysis is performed as well as comparison with the industry sector and with the competitor. The conclusion of this thesis summarizes overall results, evaluates the financial situation and last but not least indicates the strengths and weaknesses of the analyzed company. |
