| Abstract: | Diplomová práce „Analýza transakcí typu Leveraged Buyout“ je zaměřena na analýzu nejběžnějšího v praxi typu akvizice cílových společností v Private Equity odvětví – transakce typu Leveraged Buyout (LBO). Teoretická část představuje odvětví Private Equity, kde se tyto transakce nejčastěji odehrávají, a shrnuje poznatky o podstatě, principu fungování a zdrojích hodnoty v LBO transakcích. Aplikační část provádí čtenáře přes veškeré podstatné kroky budování plnohodnotného LBO modelu, které poskytuje mocný nástroj pro analytickou práce při rozhodování o investování do vybrané cílové společnosti. Výklad je doprovázen modelováním reálně uskutečněné na českém trhu transakce LBO. |

| Abstract: | Diploma thesis “Leveraged Buyout analysis” aims to describe the most common type of corporate acquisition in Private Equity industry – Leveraged buyout. The thesis starts with a theoretical part which describes the world of Private Equity, the place where the LBO transactions are primarily realized. The main aspects of an LBO transaction such as value drivers, main exit opportunities, characteristics of an ideal candidate are reviewed there. The second part of the thesis demonstrates the process of creating the fully functioning LBO model step by step with its application on the real transaction which took place on the Czech market in March 2017. |
