| Abstract: | Cílem disertační práce na téma „Vývojové trendy na pojistných trzích“ je vymezení a rozbor hlavních vývojových tendencí, které ovlivňují český i zahraniční pojistné trhy. Trendy jsou analyzovány z hlediska životního a neživotního pojištění, nejvýznamnějších trendových determinantů a z pohledu vyspělých a rozvíjejících se pojistných trhů. Rozbor vývojových tendencí na pojistných trzích tvoří úvodní část práce. S ohledem na výrazný trend v podobě změn v oblasti rizik je druhá část zaměřena na strukturální změny v jejich komerčním krytí. Pojistné trhy jsou negativně ovlivňovány realizací katastrof s nadměrnými důsledky pro jednotlivé pojišťovny. V této souvislosti dochází ke kooperaci mezi účastníky pojistných trhů. Český pojistný trh je vystaven zejména riziku povodní. Druhá část práce přináší návrh řešení povodňových rizik prostřednictvím povodňového modelu v kontextu specifických podmínek českého pojistného trhu. Dopady rizik patří mezi hlavní faktory podmiňující finanční výsledky pojišťoven. Koncentrovaný český pojistný trh je zastoupen pojišťovnami se značně rozdílnou úrovní tržních podílů a finančních výsledků, které se promítají do výše jejich daní. Nezanedbatelný vliv na výkonnost pojišťoven má také zajištění. Analýza výkonnosti institucí českého pojistného trhu z pohledu hodnocení finanční a daňové stránky v porovnání s tržními podíly pojišťoven je předmětem třetí části práce, která se zároveň zabývá určením míry vazby mezi pojistným a zajistným trhem. |

| Abstract: | The aim of the thesis “Development trends in insurance markets” is to identify and to analyse main development trends, which influence the Czech and foreign insurance markets. Trends are analysed with respect to life and nonlife insurance, then to the most significant trend determinants and from the perspective of advanced and emerging markets. The analysis of development trends in insurance markets constitutes an initial chapter of the thesis. Respecting meaningful trend in changing risks, the second chapter of the thesis is focused on structural changes in commercial coverage of risks. Insurance markets are negatively influenced by realization of natural catastrophes with excessive impacts on individual insurance undertakings. This results in deeper cooperation among participants of insurance markets. The Czech insurance market is particularly exposed to a risk of floods. The second chapter proposes a solution to flood risks through a flood model respecting specific conditions of the Czech insurance market. Reflecting the influence of risks, the Czech insurance market is represented by insurance undertakings reporting different levels of market shares and financial results with impacts on a level of total taxes. Further, an overall efficiency of insurance undertakings is affected by reinsurance. The third chapter of the thesis is focused on an analysis of efficiency of the Czech insurance undertakings in terms of financial and tax efficiencies in comparison with market shares. This chapter is concluded with a determination of an interdependence between insurance and reinsurance markets. |
