| Abstract: | Cílem diplomové práce je analýza regulatorních opatření derivátového trhu v USA, které byly odpovědí na finanční krizi, vyvolanou rizikovým chováním finančních institucí na derivátovém trhu. V první části se práce věnuje úvodu do derivátového trhu s vysvětlením fungování derivátového trhu a typů derivátových nástrojů. Zabývá se také finanční krizí, která započala poptávku po regulaci OTC derivátů. V druhé části práce jsou analyzovány jednotlivé regulatorní opatření, týkající se OTC derivátových nástrojů a bankovního trhu, přijaté v letech 2010 až 2016 na území USA. Analyzován je vývoj jednotlivých ukazatelů vycházejících z regulačního zákona a jejich dopad na vybrané instituce G-SIB. Z výsledků analýzy pozorovaných ukazatelů práce celkově potvrzuje, že reformy derivátového trhu pomocí regulačních zákonů OTC derivátů zajistily větší stabilitu na americkém finančním trhu. |

| Abstract: | The goal of the diploma thesis is an analysis of regulatory policies of derivative market in the USA as a response to financial crises, caused by risky behavior of financial institutions on derivative market. In the first part, the thesis introduces derivative market, explains how the market works and describes main types of derivative tools. It also briefly covers financial crises, which started the rising demand for regulation of OTC derivatives. In the second part, the thesis analysis the regulatory policies, effecting OTC derivatives and banking market, enacted in years 2010-2016 in the USA. The thesis analysis given indicators affected by the regulatory law and their impact on selected G-SIB institutions. The thesis overall confirms that the reforms of derivative markets through OTC regulatory laws secured better financial stability of US financial market. |
