| Abstract: | Toto téma jsem si vybral proto, že přímé zahraniční investice mají významný vliv na českou ekonomiku. Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je ověřit a následně potvrdit, resp. vyvrátit, že přímé zahraniční investice mají vliv na platební bilanci ČR, a že je tento vliv pozitivní. Druhým, návazným cílem této práce je zhodnotit, zda mají být přímé zahraniční investice v ČR podporovány. První kapitola je zaměřena na teoretický pohled, kde jsou definovány PB a PZI jako pojem, včetně popisu faktorů a rizik, které mají vliv na rozhodování o investici. Dále ve druhé kapitole analyzuji vývoj PB a PZI v České republice s důrazem na obchodní bilanci, primární výnosy a přímé investice, přičemž se zaměřuji na souvislosti mezi vývojem těchto položek. Na závěr se zabývám podrobněji vlivem podniků pod zahraniční kontrolou na obchodní bilanci, včetně vlivu na primární výnosy. Na základě získaných údajů následně statisticky testuji vliv přímých zahraničních investic na platební bilanci, resp. exportní výkonnost ČR. |

| Abstract: | I have chosen this topic because the foreign direct investments have very strong influence on the czech economy. The main goal of my diploma thesis is to confirm or reject two main hypothesis. The first one claims that FDIs have a positive impact on the balance of payments of the CR. The second one claims that FDIs in the CR should be supported. My diploma thesis is divided into two main chapters. In the first chapter, I define the balance of payments and FDIs as a definition and get a closer look to the theoretical approach, including important factors and risks influencing the decision to invest.The second chapter is focused on the analysis of the balance of payments and FDIs with emphasis on goods and services, primary income, direct investments, and the relation between their developments.The end of the thesis is focused on the analysis of the influence of companies with foreign capital on the goods and services, and on the primary income. Based on the available data I statistically prove the influence of FDIs on the balance of payments, or more precisely, on the export performance of the Czech Republic. |
