| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku outsourcingu IT služeb v prostředí veřejnýchvysokých škol. Cílem práce je analyzovat rozsah využití outsourcingu v prostředí českýchveřejných vysokých škol. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část se věnuje obecnýmdůvodům pro zavedení outsourcingu IS/ICT v organizaci, jeho přínosům, rizikům aobecným kritickým faktorům jeho úspěchu. Následně jsou popsány jednotlivé varianty outsourcinguIS/ICT včetně specifických kritických faktorů jejich úspěchu. Závěr teoretickéčásti se věnuje popisu životního cyklu outsourcingu. V praktické části jsou uvedeny výsledkyvýzkumu. Nejprve je popsána vazba outsourcingu na strategii rozvoje, následovanáanalýzou současného využití outsourcingu IS/ICT, včetně jeho výhod, nevýhod, rizik a bariér.V závěru praktické části jsou popsány trendy a směr jakým by se outsourcing v prostředíveřejných vysokých škol mohl ubírat. |

| Abstract: | This thesis is focused on the outsourcing of IT services at public universities. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the scope of outsourcing at Czech public universities. The thesis is di-vided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with the general reasons for implementing IS/ICT outsourcing in the organization, its benefits, risks and general critical factors of suc-cess. Subsequently, the various IS/ICT outsourcing options are described, including the spe-cific critical factors of their success. The conclusion of the theoretical part describes the life cycle of outsourcing. The practical part presents the results of the research. Firstly, the rela-tionship of outsourcing to development strategy is described, followed by an analysis of the current use of IS/ICT outsourcing, including its advantages, disadvantages, risks and barri-ers. At the end of the practical part are described the trends and the direction in which the outsourcing at public universities could follow. |
