| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá ekonomickými vztahy Austrálie a Číny nejen od roku 2015, kdy byla podepsána dohoda China-Australia Free Trade Agreement, ale i vztahy těchto zemí od 70. let 20. století, tedy od vzniku diplomatických vztahů mezi oběma zeměmi. Teoretická část obsahuje informace o regionálních ekonomických integracích a o typech těchto integrací. Dále práce pojednává mimo jiné o bilaterálním obchodu, investicích, urbanizaci a rozvoji infrastruktury. Cílem práce je zhodnocení charakteru těchto vztahů a dopadů dohody ChAFTA. Vedlejším cílem je posouzení, zda roste význam exportu, vzájemného obchodu a vztahů Austrálie a Číny. |

| Abstract: | This thesis examines the economic relationship between Australia and China after signing of China-Australia Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA) in 2015 and gives background on the period since the establishing of the diplomatic relations in the 1970s. The literature review consists of providing general information about regional integration and types of regional integration. Further the thesis examines the bilateral trade relationship, investment, urbanisation and development of infrastructure. The goal of this thesis is assessing the impact of the ChAFTA and the state of the relationship overall. An ancillary goal is to find out whether there is a growing importance of bilateral trade and export between Australia and China. |
